Kenneth Jay Lane is now available on ASOS, Hurrah! So i thought i would write a little something to give credit to a fabulous costume jewellery designer who stated "elegance, good taste and luxury never go out of style"
First things first Kenneth was born in 1930 in Detroit, he was the first shoe designer for Delman and Christian Dior.
He created designs for the likes of Jackie Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn.
Kenneth was probably most widely known for his three-strand faux pearl necklace worn by the first Lady Barbara Bush. See photograph below...
