In 1960 Bergdof Goodman’s head MillinerRoy Halston Frowick, known as Halston created a pillbox hat for Jacqueline Kennedy, the hat was revealed at the Prudential Inauguration and was loved by the public, making Halston an instant fashion hit.
Halston designed his first line in the 1970s among the days of the Disco Fever, think Studio 54 and the New York trend setters such as Jerry Hall, Liza Minnelli and Bianca Jagger.
Halston died in the early 90s and in 2009 Halston Heritage was born, homage to the 54 Disco days, this collection of luxe jersey dresses and black and white faux fur bring all that glamour back to our wardrobes.
