Kenneth Jay Lane

Kenneth Jay Lane is now available on ASOS, Hurrah! So i thought i would write a little something to give credit to a fabulous costume jewellery designer who stated "elegance, good taste and luxury never go out of style"

First things first Kenneth was born in 1930 in Detroit, he was the first shoe designer for Delman and Christian Dior.

He created designs for the likes of Jackie Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn.

Kenneth was probably most widely known for his three-strand faux pearl necklace worn by the first Lady Barbara Bush. See photograph below...

Celebrities of today such as Sarah Jessica Parker, The Olsen twins, Mischa Barton plus many more are seen daily wearing pieces from his collections.

Many online stores stock the collections, them include Bergdorf Goodman, Liberty of London, Net-a-Porter, My Wardrobe, Shopbop and ASOS as mentioned above.

The colours look rich and beautiful and her makeup and hair sets off the look brilliantly!

Vintage Chanel Earrings!

Check out these amazing Vintage Chanel drop earrings worn by Ashlee Simpson Wentz at the Decades Denim launch this week. Looking stunning against her blonde pixie hair do, the gold diamond ruby glass beaded dazzlers looked beautiful alongside her vintage black sequined Chanel dress and smoky black eyes. Gorgeous!

Forever 21 hits the UK!

American fashion chain "Forever 21" has plans to open up four stores in London's Covent Garden, Oxford Street, Regent Street and Westfield London, plus one store in Birmingham and one in Dublin, The new opening is expected as early as spring 2011, Amazing! The retailer offers value trend fashion and is possible to have an impact on shops like H&M and Newlook.

When I visited NY and Last Vegas I fell in love with forever 21! It is amazing, the items you get for under $20 is fantastic, and they have wonderful range of jewellery too!
A small part of me wants America to keep Forever21 secret…. FOREVER!

Halston Heritage

Huge American label Halston launched its stylish line in 2009, and has ever since brought a cult following amongst celebrities and fashion muses like Sarah Jessica Parker and Chloë Sevigny. With the essence of Studio 54 glamour, Halston Heritage reveals the brand's ageless appeal reinventing timeless pieces into effortlessly elegant shapes and style. Halston’s current collections displays pretty necklines, and tiered pleats, with gorgeous lame knit’s. Absolutely Stunning.

Check out the top I have made Item of the week below, this Gorgeous Metallic lamé-knit top at £290 blows the budget just a teeny bit, but this is definitely a piece that will get you noticed. I love it!

In 1960 Bergdof Goodman’s head MillinerRoy Halston Frowick, known as Halston created a pillbox hat for Jacqueline Kennedy, the hat was revealed at the Prudential Inauguration and was loved by the public, making Halston an instant fashion hit.

Halston designed his first line in the 1970s among the days of the Disco Fever, think Studio 54 and the New York trend setters such as Jerry Hall, Liza Minnelli and Bianca Jagger.

Halston died in the early 90s and in 2009 Halston Heritage was born, homage to the 54 Disco days, this collection of luxe jersey dresses and black and white faux fur bring all that glamour back to our wardrobes.

Halston was featured in Sex in the City 2, where SJP is head of the label

Lanvin for H&M!

Launching this winter, this forthcoming partnership between Lanvin and H&M once again fuses together two ends of the spectrum in contemporary fashion.

The long anticipated collection by Alber Elbaz, Lanvin's artistic director, goes on sale on the 23rd November in selected H&M stores nationwide, and this is definitely one collaboration worth getting out of bed for. Prices range from £7.99 for a lipstick to £199.99 for black sateen coat and detachable fur collar. The cocktail dresses come in between £79.99-£149.99.

Christina Ricci in Marchesa

Christina looked gorgeous this week in this Marchesa ensemble at the Lions Benefit on November 1st. The fitted black blazer over the ruffled layers of pleated tulle looked absolutely stunning, with the opaque tights and plain black pumps, taking no spotlight away from the dress. This is far the most prettiest creation i have seen this week. Gorgeous!

Cosmo Women of the year awards

Check out a few pics from Cosmopolitan's Women of the year awards, I love Karen Gillian's, simple shirt dress and black fringed jacket. People seem to be criticising her for this outfit, but i think she looks stunning, especially with her pretty plait hair.

Kimberly Walsh looked as pretty as ever, but her dress unfortunately did not, the material looked extremely creased and the harsh lips make her look rather old. Nicola Roberts however stood out for me in this beautiful unusual print dress. Gorgeous!

Same goes for Kelly, normally she gets it so right, but this dress did not do it for me unfortunately, it seems to hide her beautiful figure, and I'm not too sure if the shoes go either.

Fearne Cotton looked stunning her long velvet red dress with Cross pendant, absolutely stunning as always.

Check out Olivia Palermo and her model boyfriend, Johannes Huebl, who are the new faces of Mango's A/W 2010/11 collection, Both looking stunning as ever, Olivia wears this stunning burnt orange dress while sitting at a table eating a Pizza, only Olivia could look this good doing so.

The new range will provide gorgeous holiday inspired pieces for both Men and Women, the best part is Mango is affordable so you really can get Olivia’s little red and blue dresses within your budget. I cant wait!

Kate Moss Topshop Launch!

Kate and Sir Philip's daughter Chloe. I love the dress Chloe has on matched with the black belt and strap heels.

I recently bought a vintage sparkly dress with flare sleeves from eBay which is very similar. I will upload it soon, and let me know what you think..

Check out Kate Moss and her fabulous sparkly, low cut custom-made jumpsuit and stunning 60's Siren look with her pretty blonde hair and bright red lips. Stunning.

Kate was out in town last night Launching her last collection for Topshop after 4 years at Londons Oxford Street Store. The collection, which is inspired by Seventies fashions, includes floral printed day dresses, velvet hot pants and a black chain mail dress. Along with the final collection, Topshop is also releasing Kate Iconic, a capsule collection of her 10 most popular designs.

To mark the launch of the collection today, Topshop will also distribute keys on Tuesday on the streets of London, Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham and Edinburgh to shoppers in a contest for a trunk of the model's dresses!

Dress of the Day!

Goes to this beautiful creation!... Roksanda Ilincic, has kicked up a stylish storm with her new range of party dresses for Whistles, though at £325, it may have to be on the wish list, FOREVER.

The collection hits www.whistles.co.uk and stores on the 10th November.

For all those on a tighter budget, i will be browsing the high streets to find a more pocket friendly alternative... Think Camel pencil skirt, beige scoop neck long sleeve top, and pretty pastel coloured rope belt. Wala!

Accessory Crush!

I just thought I would show my love for this Feather head Turban @ £36 frin ASOS Revive, I love any sort of headpiece creation, and this is by fair the best thing i have seen lately to wear on my head.

Gorgeous- Check out the little Jewels and Feathers! Though i don't really know where and when would be the best place to wear it... I'm thinking in front of the fire with a nice novel, hot chocolate and satin black dressing gown... Ohh the glamorous of it... What do you think?

Nadine Coyle's Performance @ G.A.Y

Thoughts please...

Nadine Coyle was spotted this week at G.A.Y performing her new single Insatiable, looking incredibly teeny in this pretty silver sparkly ensemble, Nadine's hair and makeup looked gorgeous, but it appears her frame is becoming ever so tiny. Now living in LA, it appears Nadine has adapted the Hollywood Glam lifestyle, now engaged to her Football player fiance Jason Bell, she seems as happy as ever.

We can only hope for a Girls Aloud reunion, but from many sources i have come across this looks very unlikely judging by the comment made towards Cheryl Cole last week who vowed she would only ever perform on shows where she could sing live... Ooops... I guess that's Nadine off the list of X Factor celebrities to perform this series.

Nadine's single Insatiable meanwhile is out 1 November, followed by her debut solo album, also called Insatiable, on 8 November.
